Quickstart

Create your first connected Agent

Once an Agent Barn environment is available, create the tenant boundary, hire a headless Agent, add a Communication Connection, and verify Runtime and communication behavior separately.

1. First Agent journey

Create your first Organization

Create the Organization boundary, become its Owner, and configure its Agent defaults, inheritance behavior, and model allowlist.

2. First Agent journey

Hire your first Agent

Create a headless, STOPPED Agent from a versioned Template; choose its Runtime and model behavior; and configure Skills, tool Integrations, and access.

3. First Agent journey

Connect a communication platform

Add an Agent-owned Communication Connection for Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, or Discord; configure provider settings, encrypted credentials, and access policy; then enable it independently of the Agent Runtime.

4. First Agent journey

Verify your Agent

Confirm Agent Runtime health, Communication Connection health, provider delivery, Connection-scoped Conversations, and Tool Call telemetry as separate operational checks.

A Communication Connection is optional. An Agent may remain headless and may later own zero, one, or many Connections. Connection settings and health are independent of Agent Runtime lifecycle.
